Real-time big data is the currency that will drive tomorrow’s online retail.  Work with a brand new team from the ground up as we partner with retailers and brands to help them transform data into insights that drive strategies specifically for the omni-channel environment. Some of what you’ll be playing with:

  • 1B+ data points/day equating to about~$100B/year of retail data
  • Cloud-based platform supporting both run-time processes and analytic use cases, utilizing Hadoop, Hive, Hbase + Voldemort, Avro, Kafka, Kettle, Azkaban
  • Real-time sharing of customer profiles/product/inventory/promotions (Web, POS, mobile, and third party affiliates)
  • Fast access to 360 view of the customer
  • Ad-hoc analytics: analytics sandbox for model building, customer segmentation and other ad-hoc queries with high performance
  • Advanced model building & testing
  • Culture that encourages innovation and new ideas
